I met Matheus during the training programs conducted by him for the Itaú Bank executives in 2012 and 2013 and empathy brought us closer. My participation in his lectures opened the possibility for us to begin working together in 2014. The coaching program changed my personal and professional life, I felt encouraged to rethink my beliefs and to become aware about virtues and improvement points in a deeper way.
Our coaching process began in November of 2013 with analysis about my routines as a leader and the feelings I had about my superiors, team members and peers. The outcomes from these reflections changed my perception about my attitudes, self-control, self-esteem and specially changed the ways I managed my day-to-day issues.
Coincidentally, my company was going through its biggest transformational process to date and people started to notice that something was different about me. This was the most gratifying aspect of this program: the recognition.
In March of 2014 we ended our coaching process and inevitably I wasn’t the same person anymore. I regained my emotional balance and the respect of the company.
As an end result, I was one of the few leaders that managed to stay in the same job position that I was before but I’d become a reference point for the new organizational chapter about to unfold.
